SAFETY + CARING FOR YOUR CANDLES
CANDLE MEMORY
The first burn plays a huge part in the burn-life and caring for your candle. When lighting your candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the container. This creates what is called a wax "pool." This pool helps to prevent “tunneling” and promotes an even burn each time you light the candle and ensures maximum efficiency.
BURN TIME
We recommend a maximum time of 4 hours for each burn. Burning with only a small amount of wax remaining can cause the base of the glass container to overheat. To avoid cracks or any damage to the surface surrounding the candle, we recommend discontinuing use at this point.
A mushroom shape at the top of a wick can sometimes form as a result of carbon build up, where the flame consumes more wax than it can burn.
We recommend removing these “mushrooms” and trimming your wick to a 2-5mm length at all times before re-lighting.
TRIM YOUR WICK
Always trim your wick to 5mm before lighting as it will ensure your candle burns evenly.
Black residue may appear on the glass of your candle if the wick does not get trimmed. Ensure the wick is always upright and trimmed to 5mm with Wick Trimmers before each time you re-light your candle.
MINIMISE DRAUGHTS
Keep burning candles away from drafts, vents, ceiling fans and air currents. This will help prevent rapid, uneven burning, and avoid flame flare-ups and sooting. Drafts can also blow nearby lightweight items into the flame where they could catch fire.
Always burn candles in a well-ventilated room. Don’t burn too many candles in a small room or in a “tight” home where air exchange is limited.
REUSE YOUR JARS
Once empty and clean, reuse your jar! You could repurpose to store stationery or even a vase for flowers.
SAFETY + CARING FOR YOUR MELTS
WAX WARMER
Ensure your warmer is suitable for wax melts. Never add water to your burner. Do not pour wax down your sink.
REUSE YOUR MELT
Reuse your melt until the scent has faded. Once it's faded, remove the melt, clean your warmer and enjoy a new one!
REMOVING YOUR MELT
When the wax is a warm liquid, you soak up the wax from your warmer using paper towel or cotton balls.
When the wax is cold and solid, you can scrape the wax from the warmer - being careful not to damage your warmer.
Wipe clean with rubbing alcohol.
SAFETY + CARING FOR YOUR NEW DIFFUSER
Open the bottle by removing the closure. Place the reed sticks into the bottle and leave to stand for 24 hours.
Flammable liquid. Do not light reeds. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children and pets. People suffering from perfume sensitivity should be cautious when using this product. Use gloves when handling reeds.
Do not place the diffuser directly onto any textile or finished surfaces. Wipe spills immediately with a damp cloth. Do not spill on painted or porous surfaces. Keep away from heat.
When using your diffuser, always place it on a protective tray. Essential oils on textile and sealed surfaces can damage the surface.

STORAGE & PLACEMENT
Always store your candles & melts in a cool, dark and dry place as they are sensitive to heat and light. UV exposure can change the scent throw & appearance of your products.
Keep candles & melt warmers on a stable, heat resistant surface away anything flammable.
Never move a burning candle or melt warmer as they become hot when in use
Never leave a burning candle or melt burner unattended. Always extinguish before leaving the room or going to sleep.
Keep candles & melt burners away from kids and pets!
Do not place the diffuser directly onto any textile or finished surfaces.
Store diffusers in cool temperatures.
Failure to follow instructions may result in fire, hazard or injury.
-
Keep out of reach of kids and pets and away from any flammable materials.
-
Do not use the cork lid to extinguish the candle.
-
Burn your candle on a flat and heat-resistant surface.
-
Avoid exposure to drafts.
-
You should never move a burning candle.
-
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
-
Allow to cool after burning - the glass will be hot!
-
Before handling or moving, ensure your candle is extinguished, the soy wax is solid and the glass is cold before handling.
-
Always trim your wick down to 2-5mm before re-lighting to avoid a large, flickering flame. Wick Trimmers are the easiest and most efficient way of accomplishing this task.
